Son: “I want to buy a $60 bracelet for my girlfriend on Valentine’s Day.”
Mother: “do you earn any money?”
Son: “No”
Mother: “you can buy her something simple and nice from $20-30 and it'll be fine. That’s all I’m giving you.”
Son: “no I want it to be nice and perfect. My friends are going to laugh at me.”
Mother:” well it’s your father who works hard there is no point in competing, your girlfriend should be happy with whatever you give her”
Son:”Okay fine, I’ll go tomorrow”
This conversation went on between a son and his mother as you can see. The son is asking for money to go get his girlfriend a gift because he doesn’t have any. It’s funny because he’s mother asked him if he earned money and he said no. He doesn’t earn any money and he’s asking for a big amount for a gift for his girlfriend, he’s not getting the money to buy himself something but a gift for his girlfriend. He’s getting it for that amount of money so that his friends don’t laugh at him. It’s as if he’s buying the gift for his friends and not his girlfriend. The mother did have a point when she said your girlfriend should like whatever you get her, well if she didn’t then I think she’s not the right one for him.

Jealousy??
Girl #1: what's wrong? Why are u looking at her like that?
Girl #2: did you see her yesterday?
Girl #1: no, why?
Girl #2: we were trying to do a group project..
Girl #1: aha..
Girl #2: and she was sitting there.
Girl #1: what do you mean?
Girl #2: she was JUST sitting there trying to be all cute.
Girl #1: oh I see what you’re saying.
Guy: (out of nowhere) well she is cute....
*Both girls hit him on his arm*
Guy: owwww
This conversation took place during one of my classes. Before the class started the teacher had to go get something. In front of me was a girl and next to her was her friend and in front of them was the guy. What I understood from this conversation was that, they had a project to do and the girl they were referring to didn’t work on it as much as they did, and that ticked one of the girls off. Apparently I wasn’t the only one eavesdropping, the guy in front of them was too, but he commented on what they said unlike me I just kept it to myself.

Guy#1: “you remind me of my cat”
Guy#2:”huh...how do I exactly remind you of your cat?”
Guy#1:”I don’t know... you really look like it though, your eyes ... I don’t know, you just really remind me of my cat”
Guy #2:”okaaaay......*walks away*
As I was getting into the subway to go home, I overheard two guys behind me talk, let’s just say it was rather interesting. Apparently guy#2 reminded guy#1 of his cat. I did see some people that had eyes that looked exactly like a cats' with its colour and shape, but the way that guy said it was just plain weird. And I’m sure that the other guy got freaked out because he left at the next station looking back at his friend weirdly.

Who has the better skin??
girl 1: "oh my gosh!! look at your skin!!"
girl 2: "WHAT?! what is wrong with my skin?"
girl 1: "oh nothing, i just meant to say that your skin is so much tanner than mine!! Lucky!!"
girl 2: "Well yea im tanner than you...But i mean feel my skin and feel yours!"
girl 1 *feels both skins*"
girl 2: "See you have softer skin than i do though so your the lucky one!"
girl 1: "haha oh well...I guess we both have something special about us."
Today as i was walking to class, i overheard a girl talking to her friend, i thought this would be my chance to get my story, so I stopped for a while and pretended to be listening to music...I started eavesdropping, wanting to know what was so exciting that was worth pushing people for. It turned out to be she was talking about her skin and who had the better skin. 5 minutes later they were still talking about skin. I mean if i had to listen to two people arguing who had the better skin i would shoot myself.
I think people waste their time talking about little talks that aren’t really important, while others actually discuss matters that are important. people should really reconsider what they say before they talk becuase sometimes they really don't make sense or what they say is just nonsense.
